Journey to recover Underwater Timber
Our journey began in 2014 when our founder, Rashwin Singh Thind, started exploring the potential for recovering underwater timber in Malaysia. After years of planning and development, a concession was granted in Sarawak, Malaysia, on the island of Borneo. Today, Tree Rivers has concession areas totaling 114,874 acres, which is more than half the size of Singapore. These concessions have been the main passage for billions of tonnes of timber over centuries.
