Underwater timber from rivers and hydroelectric dams are trees and logs that have either sunk down to the bottom of the river during transport, or tree submerged by the construction of hydroelectric dams.
The lack of sunlight, pest, and oxygen preserves these timbers, and can give them a unique appearance and characteristics, as well as superior strength.
Submerged Timber
Flooded during the construction of man-made reservoirs such as dams for hydroelectric power plants and irrigation projects.
Sunken Logs
Lost during transportation and storage and usually found in lakes, rivers and other waterways.
